Plain terms, no fine print. By using Map2Model you agree to the following.
Free and as-is
Map2Model is provided free of charge and “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it working, but we can’t guarantee the tool, the map data, or any generated model will be accurate, available, or fit for a particular purpose.
Your models
Map2Model requests map, search, elevation and optional imagery data for the area you choose. The generated mesh is assembled in your browser, and exported model files are not uploaded to or stored by Map2Model. The files you export are yours, subject to the data licenses described on the commercial use and attribution pages.
Third-party data
Map data comes from OpenStreetMap, Esri and Mapterhorn. Their terms apply to that data, and Map2Model is not responsible for the content, accuracy or availability of these third-party services.
Reasonable use
Please use the tool reasonably and don’t hammer the upstream map and elevation services with automated bulk requests. They are shared community resources that keep Map2Model free for everyone.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Map2Model and its authors are not liable for any damages arising from use of the tool or the models you create with it. You are responsible for what you print and how you use it.
